{Pretty supplies for the Dream Catching Workshop}

Watching: Big Bang Theory! I haven’t watched last night’s episode yet, but I’m finally caught up on all the other episodes. So far, this season isn’t super hilarious, so I’m hoping it gets better soon. I miss my BBT belly laughs!

Listening to: Taylor Swift. I have an undying love for that girl and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Her songs are just so dang catchy! I’ve been playing the new singles from her soon-to-be-released album on repeat all week at work and I love it. Pretty sure Red is my fav.

Thinking about: everything. I’ve been thinking about my business and which direction I want to take it over the next few months. Do I want to focus on gathering more coaching clients or use my energy to create a new service or product. So many ideas! I’ve been thinking about my trip to Canada next week and my upcoming move. I’ve been thinking about my full-time job and how proud I am of my team for submitting a proposal to a national conference and being chosen to present! It’s all just so exciting and my mind is racing with all of these new, inspiring ideas!

Loving: my new business coaching group! I signed up for one of Molly from Stratejoy’s business coaching groups and I am super pumped. We had our first call on Tuesday night and it was exactly the jump started I needed to get my butt into gear. It is such a supportive and encouraging group of young entrepreneurial women and the perfect kind of support system I was looking for as I move forward with Your Super Awesome Life. This week our challenge is to move through our fears, so I’m sure there will be a blog post or two about that soon. Oh fear, you tricky little monster.

Reading: “From Therapist to Coach” by David Steele. This book was actually given to me by one of my awesome coaching clients, Leigh, and I am loving it so far! I started reading it a couple nights ago and I can already tell that it is going to a be a super helpful resource in helping me navigate how to transition from being a therapist to a coach. If you’re a therapist interested in switching to the coaching field, I highly recommend this book. In the first two chapters it covers how coaching and therapy are similar and how they are different, as well as providing you with some basic coaching tools. So helpful!

Making me happy: Launching the Dream Catching Workshop this past Monday, lunch at the local food trailer park with co-workers yesterday, lunch at ZTejas today, being chosen as a presenter at a national conference, feeling inspired with Your Super Awesome Life, knowing I get to see Peter in exactly one week, the cooler weather, and shopping for new boots at Target.com.

So, what about you? What are you up to today? Any fun plans this weekend?

I’ve always been obsessed with Taylor Swift, but I cannot wait for the release of this album– it’s going to be amazing, I just know it. I can’t stop listening to “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

Looking forward to a local book sale and apple picking tomorrow! Happy Fall :)

I have intense love for Taylor Swift. She’s just so adorable and her songs ARE catchy. I sing along anytime she comes on the radio.

Happy weekend!

Taylor Swift has grown on me a lot since I was in high school. Her first album came out when I was 16, and I didn’t really care for it at the time, because I wasn’t into country in high school. I’m still not much, but her songs have turned more into pop lately. I have to admit, though, in the last few years I’ve really come to like her, not just as a singer, but as a performer and person. She seems so sweet and genuine. I’ll definitely want her new album when it comes out.
