launching a successful business

You’ve got this idea, this business that you want to create.

It’s been floating around in your head for a while now. Months. Years, even. And it’s finally ready to evolve into something real, something awesome.

The problem is, you have no idea where to start.

You’ve heard about creating a business plan, but that seems completely overwhelming (and boring).

You’ve considering building a website, but you know that doesn’t happen overnight. Plus, you have no idea about this whole “branding” thing.

You spend hours jotting down notes in your journal and fleshing out your ideas, but you don’t know how to make them actually happen.

So, where do you begin?

The First Step to Launching a Super Successful Business

When you set out to launch a business, it doesn’t happen overnight. It doesn’t even happen over a few weeks or a few months.

I mean, I’ve been working on Your Super Awesome Life for just over two years and I still feel like I’m just getting started.

There’s marketing, customer service, branding, creative development, design, and the list goes on and on.

Not to say that it isn’t insanely rewarding or that it won’t be best decision you’ll ever make, but honestly, it’s an uphill battle with a huge learning curve.

That’s why the first step is to Get In The Zone.

Your mindset. Your confidence. Your faith in yourself. Your ambition. Your belief that your business will be awesome. Your willingness to power through, work late nights, work on the weekends, and make this happen. You willingness to make sacrifices, to pour your heart and soul into this, to make this business be an express of your passion.

I’m not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but without this, you probably won’t make it. You know how they say most businesses fail within the first two years? This is why.

There are so many obstacles, road blocks, and unexpected problems that will pop up. You can’t quit after the first, second, or third one gets in your way. You must be solidly set in your mindset and faith that you will get through it. You will figure it out. You will continue to learn and grow and become the business owner you’ve always imagined.

It just takes time.

Bonus steps:

If you’re already in the zone and you’re ready for what’s next, try these steps.

1. Know why you want this

This is your mission statement, your purpose, the whole big reason you’re creating this business in the first place.

2. Know what you offer

Are you offering your killer coaching services to help divorced men get back into the dating world? Are you selling gemstone rings that you make in your home studio? Are you a photographer who captures the budding forever-love of newly engaged couples?

3. Know who you’re offering it to

Is your dream customer a stay-at-home mom? A 20-something who is searching for her life’s purpose? A overworked business owner looking for a stellar VA?

If you follow these simple steps and get clear on your answers, there’s no doubt in my mind that you’ll be on your way to launching a super successful business… and living a super awesome life.

Hey there! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering
which blog platform are you using for this website?

I’m getting sick and tired of Wordpress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking
at alternatives for another platform. I would
be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
