What To Do When You Feel Completely Overwhelmed + Want To Hide Under The Covers All Day

by Ashley on March 22, 2013 · 3 comments

Do you ever feel stressed out, overwhelmed, and like your mind is pulling you in a million different directions? Do you wish you could just stay in bed and hide under the cover all day so you don’t have to face the rest of the world?

Well, you’re not alone. We all go through these emotional storms where we question everything and feel our doubts growing stronger and stronger.

If you’ve been so wrapped up in fighting your inner critic, meeting deadlines, and staying on track with your to do list that you’re considering throwing in the towel, remind yourself of what exactly inspired you to get started in the first place. Because really, getting super clear on your “why” is the not-so-secret key to success in anything you do.

And once you’ve got that handled, if you want to make sure you stay consistently engaged with your goal, you need to carve out time for yourself to recharge which I’ll explain in more detail in today’s video.

Since I shared my plans for a stay-cation, in the comments below, tell me how you recharge and refocus when things get a bit off track.

Happy Friday!

I’m going to go on this journey with you. I need a reset and to center myself and I think this would be the best way to do it. I hope your staycation is great and when you come back, your inner critic will be more silent. Happy Friday!

I sit on my porch and enjoy being outside. Always helps.
